May Favorites

I skipped April woops! But i did have more items to share from May than from April. Alot of my May favorites come from my hair and makeup kits! I am sharing the items i keep reaching for when I do makeup and hair on clients as well as some personal favorites!

  1. CLIO eye palette - The best neutral eyeshadow palette. It is cool toned and great for fair skin clients or for clients who don’t like warm tones. You can shop the palette on Amazon

  2. Esum Lip palette is perfect for professional makeup artists because you can create multiple looks from one palette and it can be used on the cheeks as well.

  3. Maybelline Tattoo Liner is smudge proof! Literally hard to get off. Great for long wedding days.

  4. Iconic London Underglow - love this primer to use on clients that are looking for that radiant/glowy finish!

  1. Facial Radiance Pads - Literally use on every client before a makeup application. Great on sensitive skin, helps prep the skin for product.

  2. Byoma Milky Toner - I like to use this on all clients, but especially combo to oily skin clients. Its moisturizing but won’t overly make the skin oily.

  3. D’alba Spray - This spray is perfect for an in between spritz on the skin while doing makeup. Helps rehydrate the skin and helps get rid of any dry or cakey spots.

  4. Iconic London Spray - I love using this spray at the end to give that final radiant glow to the skin. You can use it to set body glow too.

  1. Redken Spray Wax - literally can’t do hair without it. The times I don’t have it, I definitely notice and it shows in the hairstyle.

  2. Amika Frizz Spray- It was super rainy and humid in April/May so this was a lifesaver for bridal hairstyles. I sprayed this into the hair and blow dried it and it gave me a nice smooth, frizz free canvas to do the updo.

  3. Wax Stick - This wax stick is fragrance free which I love since I also have one that I use on my toddlers hair. I use this wax to tame baby hairs and smooth out the neckline and hairline on those sleek updo/half up do styles.

  4. Mermade Hair Waver - The triple barrell iron is huge, but I do love the way my waves turn out. It’s easy and quick to use and you can go days with this style and it will still look good. - you can use my code JESSICAS for 15% off

  1. Spark of the Everflame - I have been seeing this book on my feed for years and finally go around to reading it. I took a break from fantasy books but this one was a good one to get back into the genre. I finished book 2, I need to start on 3. I love the story so far!

  2. Project Hail Mary - This book was unexpected! I had been recommended the movie actually by my brother and a friend of mine. I decided to read the book first and I loved it. It took me a while to get through it, but I loved the story and the relationship between the characters.

  3. Chestnut Springs Series - I normally love to read romantasy, but recently picked up this cowboy/athelete romance series and I was hooked. I read them a little out of order but I loved them all. My favorites were Heartless & Reckless & Hopeless.

  1. Off Campus - I almost didn’t watch this show because I’m not the biggest hockey romance fan, but let me tell you… I was so wrong. I am obsessed with the series. The actors are all beautiful & I loved their chemistry. It was refreshing and different. A cross between hallmark and lifetime & hbo.

  2. The Devil Wears Prada 2 - The first one is one of my favorite movies that I can re-watch a thousand times and not get sick of it so naturally, I was a little worried about the sequel. However, the sequel was so fun and nostalgic and I really liked it. The first one is better of course, but it was still a fun time.

  3. Camp Snap Camera - not really media but more of a tech favorite. I saw another influencer using this for her photos and loved the way they came out. They have a vintagey feel to them and I love that it is screen less so whatever shot you get, is the shot you have to stick with! It’s like a disposable camera, but it stores the images digitally and you can use the cable it comes with to connect to your phone or computer to transfer all the photos.
