Amazon Finds for Bridal Makeup Artists PT.1
Peak wedding season is officially here, which somehow always feels like the perfect time to completely revamp my hair and makeup kits! I’ve been restocking staples, upgrading a few essentials, and adding some new Amazon finds that are perfect for bridal makeup artists. Stay tuned for part 2, where I’ll be sharing my bridal hair kit recommendations!
Cinema Secrets Cleaner - I like getting the spray so its quick and easy. Less spilling, less product needing to be used when getting rid of product on my makeup brushes.
BK foundation brush dupe - I love this size for applying foundation or contour. I have the BK beauty 101 brush and I feel it’s too big for most faces and I liked to be detailed in my foundation application.
Makeup Sponges - These are a dupe for the PAW PAW sponges I used to also get on amazon. I cut them in half so I get double the amount! I actually barely use a sponge now when applying makeup.
Flat Foundation Brush - Love using these to apply serums/moisturizers or foundation. I like to paint the foundation on and then use the BK or Jessup foundation brushes to buff it into the skin. For a more natural look, I go in with a sponge instead.
Eyeliner Makeup Disposables - I like that these have a really fine tip for winged liner and they are disposable so you can just throw them out after each client. They can also be used to clean up the eye area if needed.
Jessup Makeup Brushes - these are a dupe for the makeup by mario dual foundation brush! I wish they sold the foundation/contour brush on its own, but they only sell them in bundles.
Mini Trash Can Liners - These are perfect for my mini foldable trash can. When you’re done, just tie it up and throw it out. Keeps everything organized and clean.
Powder Trays - I will be using these trays for my setting powders! Easy to clean and less messy than putting them on my palette. I can also use these for serums, liquids etc.
Skinny Mascara Wands - I feel like I can get closer to the lash like with these!
Touch Up Palettes - I will use these on my brides for touch up hours. I can put their lip touch up, concealer in it so I don’t have to carry my full kit with me on the go when I’m following them around during photos!
Brush Bags - I will now be separating my brushes per client into their own brush bags. This way they stay organized, stay sanitary and when I need to do touch ups at the end, I can just pull up their (designated) bag for touch ups. I will probably get a post it to keep on it with their names on each bag so I know whos brushes they are. They are easy to clean and wipe down for the next job!
